The LDS Church History Library is seeking a processing archivist who can lead staff and volunteers in the processing of archival collections held in remote storage locations, for both preservation and discovery purposes. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in international LDS Church History as well as in archival and library standards. The archivist will contribute to our team dedicated to the arrangement and description of archival and manuscript collections, collaborate with international subject experts and preservation specialists, and participate in the work of the Church History Department as a whole. This individual will help create new methods to describe the content of these materials so they may be discovered and access by global library users.
